The Brazilian Dentistry Bibliography - BBO - is a national literature database in the field of dentistry, published in 1966 under the responsibility of the Dental Documentation Department (SDO) of the School of Dentistry of the University of São Paulo (USP). It contains books, theses, periodicals, as well as articles by national authors published in foreign and non specialized journals. In collaboration with the Information System Specialized in Dentistry (SIEO), it brings together, from 1991, the national scientific production in the area and is available online and on CD ROM, from the 17th. edition of LILACS. Journals indexed by BBO are reviewed by a Selection Committee, according to the Selection Criteria for the BBO database. Currently, the database has 60 journals indexed.
